To My Be'Loved Daddy with Everlasting Love



Mungkin saat saya menulis postingan ini, telat hampir dua minggu dari hari ulang tahun Bapa’. Tapi ini yang saya ingin ungkapkan ke Bapa’. Tepat pada tanggal 12 April, adalah tanggal dimana Bapa’ bertambah umurnya. Dan saya ingin mengucapkan...... 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAPA’...

Semoga diberikan umur yang panjang, kesehatan, murah rezeki, dan selalu dalam lindungan Allah SWT.. Amin.. Dan semoga apa yang Bapa’ inginkan semuanya tercapai.. Aminn.. Aminnn.. Aminn :) Satu hal yang mungkin buat saya sedih. Karena saya tidak ada disamping Bapa’ saat umur Bapa’ bertambah satu.

Jujur, saya sangat sedih.. Mungkin memang hari ulang tahun itu tidak harus dirayakan, tapi setidaknya saya ingin mengucapkan langsung ke Bapa’. Karena gimanapun juga, saya tetap ada rasa 'kurang lengkap' karena tidak bisa mengucapkan dengan langsung. Dimana saya bisa mengekspresikan apa yang saya rasakan di depan kedua mata Bapa’. Saya bisa peluk dan cium Bapa’. Memberikan rasa sayang seorang anak terhadap Ayahnya. Tapi sayang, saya tidak bisa lakukan itu..

Throughout the years, you've worked so hard. I am so proud of you, Dad. You are a strong and a wise person. I just want you to know that you will always be in my heart. No matter where I go. I will always remember all the things you taught me. I will always keep it...

From the first moment, I felt your warm heart; we bonded as father and daughter. I remember when I was a kid your large hand holding my small and you safe me from the strangers when we walked together. I remember the many night you spent with me giving up your own sleep that you may help me to feel better, safe, and warm.. Children learn to smile from their parents.. So do I.. :)

Sampai akhirnya saya  tumbuh besar.. Bahkan sekarang harus hidup jauh dari keluarga.. You helped me to grow strong and coragoeus by sharing yourself. Bapa’ yang selalu mengingatkan saya and helped me to understand how important laughter is in this world.. Bapa’ selalu mengajarkan anak-anaknya melalui contoh kalau attitude and belief were everything.. You taught me that freedom is born within the soul, therefore it can never truly be taken away. 

Saya selalu ingat saat kecil selalu duduk di sarung Bapa’. Sampai saya besar, kemana-mana saya selalu diantar sama Bapa’, terlebih jika itu tentang sekolah. Bahkan saat di kelas 1 SMA dimana selama setahun saya sekolah sore, setiap sorenya, selalu dijemput sama Bapa’. Untuk ikut kegiatan ekskul, pasti merengek untuk dianterin. Terkadang saya berat untuk membangunkan Bapa’ yang lagi tidur siang hanya untuk mengantar saya kemanapun saya mau pergi. Dan masih banyak lagi kenangan-kenangan bersama Bapa’ sepanjang hidup saya, yang ngak akan pernah bisa terlupakan dan tergantikan..

Bapa’, thank you so much sudah mau bersabar untuk membesarkan saya bersama-sama dengan Mama.. Mau mendidik saya sehingga saya bisa menjadi seperti sekarang. Terima kasih karena selalu memberikan saya semangat untuk terus menuntut ilmu. Terima kasih karena selalu ada disamping saya dan akan selalu ada kapanpun dan dimanapun saya berada untuk mendukung saya 100% tanpa pengecualian. 

You told me that I have to be open to different ways of thinking and seeing this world..You are the best Dad in the world.. I could make a difference and to never give up, no matter how hard, no matter how much the odds seemed stacked together.

Bits and Pieces of My Life: Hustle Culture and Multitasking

Have you ever heard about hustle culture and multitasking? Hustle culture is a person mentality who thinks work as everything above all. For them, work all day long every day is a must, for the sake of professionality. Until some of them end with burnout - exhaustion of physical or emotional strength or motivation usually as a result of prolonged stress or frustration of work. Sometimes, they are also multitasking - the ability to do multiple tasks at one time. Why do I talk 'bout this?   Hmm...I'm going to share about my activity recently ( in the last three months ).  After re-reading my daily journal, I realize that the rhythm of my life is in contrary with my principle, which is slow living. What I do recently, shows that I'm in hustle culture and a multitasking woman as well. My weekend is always full of workshops or meetings, from one place to another, even from one hotel to another. Story of My 18th August

08.18.16 My 26 th Birthday              Bulan Agustus kerap kali menjadi bulan yang paling saya nanti-nanti setiap tahunnya. Itu tidak lain dan tidak bukan hanya karena satu hal, yaitu hari kelahiran. Tiap kali, Bangsa dan orang-orang Indonesia usai merayakan Hari Kemerdekaan, saya pun kembali diingatkan dengan hari dimana saya pertama kali melihat dunia yang fana ini. Tiap kali hari itu datang, saya selalu dan senantiasa bersyukur karena masih dianugrahi umur yang panjang. Namun, di sisi lain, saya pun menyadari bahwasanya saya juga semakin dekat dengan kematian. Sebagaimana yang kita ketahui bersama bahwa kehidupan dunia itu fana. Dunia hanyalah tempat persinggahan bagi hamba-Nya, sekaligus tempat untuk menyiapkan bekal untuk kehidupan yang kekal. Dan, kehidupan yang kekal itu adalah akhirat.
