Hi, blog readerssss…..!
Long time no post, I miss you so much…..
Anyway, welcome to 2017!
I know…it’s so damn late to say New Year greeting. It’s
already the end of January, but, I’m still wanna say it.
Well, the reason for barely post is no other than
my busy at college.
If it doesn’t make sense for you, okay. It doesn’t matter.
You may think that I just make an excuse.
Talkin’ bout college life as lecturer, let me share some things
relate to it.
This month is the last month for this semester. It means
that I have to complete all my responsibilities that I’ve been in charged in.
In this odd semester, I had eight classes to be
handled, four classes of freshman, two classes of sophomore, and two classes of
junior. And, I made it in two days.
16th January was the last day of
lecturing. As lecturers, we’re asked to finish our lecture in fifteen meeting.
I myself had tried to finish it before the deadline. I gave lecture twice in a
week for every course. All my students also agreed with that. They made it as my
expectation. As a result, they had one free week without lecture in campus.
Actually, that’s time fo’ them to study hard before dealing with final test.
Due to the hectic lecturin’, I made myself came to
the tiredness a lot. Every Monday and Tuesday, I spent my time in college all
day long. Headin’ campus in the early morning and back to home in the evening had
brought me to the horrible headache. The worst thing, it forced me to eat
painkiller every time I got it. That’s the only way for me. I couldn’t do
anything if I didn’t. I had been addicted of a headache painkiller.
Time flies and we came to the last week of January.
The schedule of final test was 24-30th of January. I’m not a final
test committee, but I kept coming to campus as volunteer. I did everything I
can. I supervised final test in some classes whenever I was needed. Actually,
that’s the responsibility for every lecturer to be supervisor of their course
but some of them couldn’t make it. Maybe, it caused by some intolerable reasons
and I needed to replace them.
Final test ended and I came to the hard-time.
Why did I say so???
Yeah,,,
As a lecturer, I had to check all of the students’
final test, calculated their score for the whole semester including assignments
score, mid-test score, final-test score and even their class participation. Before
comin’ to the decision, I had to consider their presence in my lecture, too. Whether
they’re diligent or lazy students.
I myself was one of an objective lecturer. I made
it in very clear report. I even tried to put aside my mercy in givin’ the
score. I remember one day when my professor said to never see the name while
you give score to the students. And, I kept it in my mind, forever.
But, whenever the students popped in my face, I was
speechless. Their expression was such a pity. I didn’t know what to do. Whether
I remain silent or gave my mercy.
I knew…
Last semester, I gave some “T” score that made me
called in many times by my super-ordinate. But, still…I’ve no right to give
them the best as long as they still do or try nothing.
What a really really complicated thing!
